The Hunter Valley is most famous for its wine but similarly to most of Australia’s great wine regions, there is so much more to offer for non-drinkers.
It is generally a 2.5 hour drive from Sydney with a helicopter being a very efficient option instead.
For food/wine lovers, we can arrange exclusive and private tastings with the winemakers themselves as well as farm-to-table style cooking classes.
Other suggestions include:
- Horse riding, art galleries/studios and local markets.
- For active travellers, there are some excellent golf courses and cycling trails.
- Hot air balloons are an early morning start but certainly offer a spectacular experience once airborne.
- Day spas, wild kangaroo spotting and for flora/fauna enthusiasts, the Hunter Valley Gardens.
